I wanted to wait a while and see how things would be before giving a review. So far I am very satisfied with the service that Five Star Sitters provides. I signed up for a year (of unlimited booking) because I wanted a reliable source for childcare for times I need it most. I'm a law student living off student loans, so daycare is out of consideration because it's unaffordable and I don't want my infant being susceptible to any illnesses from other kids. It seemed to me that babysitting was more affordable and it works for me when I really need to get things done without any distraction. Here are a few things I wanted to highlight:
(1) Great communication - they text/contact you as soon as they process your booking or for any other concerns. (2) Very accommodating - I trust that they make a good-faith effort to deliver the right caregiver to meet your needs. (3) The owners will make it work if something doesn't go right. Once, a babysitter had a situation and did not make it on time, so Celene and Danica (the owners) came to the rescue and did the shift themselves and did not charge me for the hours used because of the inconvenience it caused. (I was late for work). (4) Very receptive to comments - I addressed my concerns with one specific babysitter that my household was dissatisfied with, but I place no blame on FSS because every sitter has their own personality and quirks that, understandably, FSS isn't in the position to control. They were very apologetic and welcomed my comments and addressed the issue professionally. (5) Reasonable and affordable AND 24 hours!- I'm actually grateful that a service like theirs exists (it's really my first time encountering a babysitting/nanny service that costs less than daycare) so I'm really lucky to have stumbled upon FSS.
Great customer service. The two owners are sweet ladies who are swift with responses and I really appreciate that. :)
