Being from Chicago with an affinity for deep dish, I was actually pleasantly surprised by this Giordano's after it opened up. The service was clearly not yet polished, which you may expect from this type of restaurant. It may take a while for that area to be reconciled. But the food was surprisingly on par with some of the deep dish locations downtown, which was unexpected. If you're unfamiliar with deep dish, you should come in expecting to wait at least 45 minutes for the pizza to be prepared - this is standard.
