I really wanted to give the resort 5 stars but when maintenance had to come to my room twice over a "no hot water" issue, I was disappointed. I took a cold shower the first morning. When I returned later to my room, a small card indicated the repair had been completed. Great! That evening I decided to check the shower before bedtime. No hot water. I called for service again. This time the maintenance person explained the handle needed to be rotated two full turns to be activated to access hot water and I should completely ignore the "hot" and "cold" water indicators. There are no instructions in the room to tell the guest you'll need a special guide to use the shower. By the way, the guest in the room next to mine had the exact same experience. This is not typical of a Fairmont Resort and needs to be addressed for future guests. I still rated my stay at four stars due to the outstanding service from all of the staff.
