| - Definitely some pros and cons to this hotel, wasn't terrible but could be much better.
Pros:
-Friendly staff
-Renovated lobby and restaurants are very nice, gives an upscale vibe
-Pool area is awesome - 3 pools, abundant towels, lots of chairs and umbrellas
-Amazing blackout curtains in room
-Nice colours and artwork in room
Cons:
-Design of rooms is strange - not super functional in terms of storage. No coffee maker or fridge. To watch tv from couch or bed, you need to turn your head 90 degrees.
-Housekeeping was shockingly bad. We were out all afternoon on Friday, when we returned at 3.30PM and saw room hadn't been cleaned we called housekeeping. Went down to pool, room still wasn't cleaned when we got back to room at 6PM. Called again, housekeeper came, replaced towels, made bed, asked my friend 'what else she wanted' and left as quickly as possible. Not acceptable for a place that calls itself a hotel, let alone one this expensive.
-Large bag of garbage was left in the hallway across from our room from about 6:30PM to when we checked out the following morning around 10AM. Yikes!
-Hotel still under construction - no proper sidewalks from door to strip. Heard work on floors above us in the mornings.
As I said we had a decent enough stay but I don't think I'll be coming back here with so many other options on the strip. At a minimum I need my room cleaned!
