  • My husband received a ticket for a minor car accident cited into Las Vegas Municipal Court. I was in the car with him so I knew it was not his fault, but he was "technically" still at fault because he rear-ended the other vehicle. His ticket didn't even have the option to pay it or state the bail amount, it just said "Court Required". We used LV Traffic Ticket Guy fully aware that there may not be any reduction in the fines, but my husband at least wanted the attorney to go to court for him to save him extra time off work and perhaps let him attend traffic school online instead of in person. Everything was done online. My husband filled out the information on their website and uploaded the photos of the citation. He was able to explain/vent a little about why he felt he was not in the wrong. I'm a natural worrywart so I was afraid my husband's ticket would be that one ticket that falls through the cracks and goes into warrant, but once the case was accepted by the attorney, I was able to login on their website and see the status of the case for myself. The attorney got it down to a non-moving violation, no traffic school and $115 fine. I was able to see the status of the citation by logging onto the Las Vegas Municipal Court's website myself to ensure that it was really amended to a parking citation and case closed. Thanks to fellow yelpers for their reviews, because that's what we used to find and ultimately use the LV Traffic Ticket Guy. Just be realistic, though. Every case is different. Every court house is different. Don't expect the attorneys to get your case dismissed from the get-go. They're not magic workers, but they will work on your behalf as much as they can. Even if all they can do is save you a morning in court and five hours of your day to do traffic school, that's great! If they can get your reduced, that's a big plus! Timeline: Received ticket - Mid-November End of November - Submitted case with LV Traffic Ticket Guy website One week later - Confirmation email from law office End of December - Email from attorney with negotiated sentence/link to pay fine directly to court's website; paid fine online First week of January - Case status shows "case closed" on Las Vegas Municipal Court website.
