If you take your pet in, make them give you the costs up front or you may find your bill several hundred dollars over what you were expecting.
But, my biggest complaint was seeing a vet for about 90 seconds while dropping my dog off for a fairly serious procedure....and that wasn't the vet that performed it. She had all of her teeth pulled (a total of 9 teeth) And a tech handing my dog back to me at the end of the day. Asked her questions she could not or would not answer. My bill SHOULD have been no more than $350. It was $590. For that amount, I think that a vet present to answer my questions is not unreasonable.
