You can watch them make the cheese right there!
I've been going to the cheese co-op for many years. Yes, its a bit out of the way but if you're in town, definitely check it out. They offer fresh made amish cheese, along with other snacks and a little bit of a grocery store. In years past, it seemed like they went for the more traditional flavors, but now they're branching out a little bit with habanero or horseradish, and some varieties I've never heard of. They're well known for their butter cheese, which is awesome. And the cheese curds! You have to get cheese curds.
As I'm sitting at my boyfriend's computer at 4am typing this out, I'm thinking the perfect date would be to pick up a bottle of wine at a local shop, put together a cheese and meat board at the co-op, and have a cute little picnic at Swine Creek (ahem).
