I had put off getting my impacted wisdom teeth for years, despite my orthodondist wishing I would so my newly straightend teeth wouldn't move. But I never did it because I was so afraid of the pain. Recently I started having pain and swelling gums and had to have it done before it got worse (cysts were forming). I was referred to Dr. Harris and was very reassured and felt very informed after my consultation. I still had nerves the day of the procedure, but I certainly didn't need to. I felt great afterward and the days following. I never got the "chipmunk cheeks" or bruising that you hear about from some people - which to me is a sign of a great oral surgeon. After the surgery the very kind staff provides you with excellent post-operative care instructions. I even received a call from Dr Harris at the end of the day of the surgery to make sure I was feeling OK. The entire experience was a breeze and his staff is wonderful. They even have the office phone ring through to Dr. Harris directly after office hours - a quality not often found elsewhere. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
