A great addition to the south, Starbelly has a lot of potential but isn't quite there yet. The restaurant itself is huge, the décor is modern and trendy and the menu has a good variety. We went for Sunday brunch and there was lots of room for our large group - a welcome change from smaller breakfast joints downtown. The food itself was alright, however, the service and price left something to be desired. Our waitress had long hair that was not tied back and caused us to cringe as we watched it dangle into some food. The bacon ran $6 for 2 pieces (granted it is smoked in-house) and tea was over $3. For the overall experience the final price definitely seemed high. I may revisit but will be giving them some time to work out the kinks.
