  • LOCATION Industrial park off McCowan, just north of the 401. OFFERINGS They seem to have more variety of hard-to-find baking ingredients than bulk barn They have a variety of baking ingredients, not just flours. Variety of raisins, currants, candied fruit/ginger, spices, coconut, seeds, tapioca, nuts, syrups, molasses, salts (kosher, table, sea), chocolate/carob chips, and glucose; most of these are packaged into 2 or 4 cup tubs. Spices tend to come in 1 or 2 cup tubs. They have legume, coconut, various wheat, barley, buckwheats, sorghum, rice flours. They have 10lb bags of some, but most are in manageable 5lb or smaller sizes. They have a variety of powdered proteins (milk, hemp, soy, gluten) and powdered dairy (milk, buttermilk, whey). They have some baking mixes (muffins, the odd bread machine bread mix) They have a handful of snack items like cookies and seed bars. CLEAN Very plain, but very clean. A few grocery shelves and warehouse lighting. Open 8am - 5:30pm Mon - Fri 8:30am - 1pm on Saturday ONCE A MONTH (usually 2nd Sat of the month, but seems to be the first of the month around the holidays). Payment Cash or debit only. NO credit card.
