| - Coming here is a must for ingredients that are hard to find when cooking middle eastern dishes. The meat counter has a variety of meat and will cut anything to order, as well as fresh vegetables and breads that are baked daily. They carry a large variety of teas, cookies, dried fruit, olives, spices, rice, olive oils and more. I could go on and on about all the yumminess down each isle. But really go check it out and you won't regret it.
We also come here for the little restaurant up front by the registers. The falafel sandwich is hands down the best you will find in the valley. It comes with tahini sauce, pickled beet, lettuce and tomato wrapped in a warmed thin bread. Seriously this is no joke how delicious it is. I have had falafel at many restaurants and none compare. Their Kefta ,Iraqi kabob and shawarma are also very well done and delish. We also really enjoy the tabouli salad. All in all it's a great experience coming here. The staff is welcoming and the store is well stocked and clean. Go, visit, and tell your friends.
Also a side note the New Baiz in Mesa is much larger and nice as well, but the restaurant is not the same. I would only recommend coming to this location for hot food.-Cheers!
