  • WITHOUT QUESTION the best theater I've been to in Vegas. The place was immaculately clean and the reclining seats are an absolute must-do movie experience. Having sat in similar seats in other city's theaters in the past, I was wondering who was going to do this first in Vegas and the Galaxy Cannery Theatre hit it out of the park. Some places I've been to actually serve food to you and these guys didn't but I was totally fine with that. The reclining seats, intimate theaters, and big, clear screens were what I came for and boy did these guys deliver. We opted for a standard theater experience with the reclining seats when we went to see the new Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation film and it was nice to reserve our seats online, so our foursome there all could sit together in exactly the seats we wanted. All the staff greeted us with a friendly smile, explained the different seating arrangements to us, and we never felt like it was just another movie-going experience. While we could have opted for wine, beer, and food for the movie, we passed as we were just coming from breakfast, but those options are certainly available at not-so-outrageous prices. As we had our tickets taken, the manager greeted us and gave us a tour of the different theaters, explained the D-Box concept (moving seats) and then took us into their new HUGE screen theaters with the advanced Dolby Atmos sound system and explained how advanced it was, etc. It was really nice having this opportunity to be shown all these details by someone who actually took pride in this state-of-the-art facility. As the movie started, an usher checked seats, got everyone excited about the movie, had a little fun with the audience, and started the show. It was like we were back 50 years ago when going to a movie really meant something. As for the movie, the picture quality was perfect as was the sound quality. The reclining seats made you feel like you were at home and you never even knew there were others in the theatre. The entire experience was wonderful and as far as I'm concerned, this has raised the bar HUGE for other theaters in Vegas to aim for. I can't even imagine going anywhere else from now on and I can't wait to see Star Wars on their new giant screen with Dolby Atmos!!!
