My mother lives in Pittsburgh these days so when I was visiting she wanted to show me how Pittsburgh can compete with some of my favorite NYC places. We went around Thanksgiving for forgive this review as it can't be as comprehensive as if I had just visited.
Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and was able to describe the dishes, which was impressive (yet expected) considering everything was in a different language--and not a common language at that. She was able to suggest dishes that wound up being absolutely delicious.
It was BYOB and liquor stores close pretty early in the 'burgh. But it was nice to drink water. Gotta stay hydrated!
