This is one of three restaurants run by Phillip Hurley and John Gadau owners of Sardines and Marigold Kitchen. Opened in 2011 this is a friendly neighborhood place, warm and cozy. It is perfect for an evening when you do not want to cook but have a warm and delicious meal.
One of my favorite places to get a side of french fries. They are just sooo good. Last time I went with my family I ended up having the chicken picatta with lemon-caper garlic sauce, greens beans and crispy potatoes. It was the first time I had this dish and it was really good. It reminder me of my childhood. The portion are fairly large, especially their pizzas, so you can have leftovers.
Another dish to recommend is the orrechiette crimini & shiitake mushrooms, spinach, chili flake, pecorino romano, bread crumbs. I usually have them take off the chili flakes and add salmon or chicken on top.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating, especially if you have food allergies.
