I LOVED Eddie's. We happened upon here by accident on a Saturday morning and man were we glad about it. We showed up around 10:30 and waited for less than 10 minutes to be seated. They are very busy so you should expect some sort of a wait. They are a no-frills traditional breakfast joint. They don't even serve iced coffee! Which is fine, there are enough brunch places in CLT, sometimes old school is better.
I got a veggie omelet with hash browns and a side of pancakes, boyfriend got chicken and waffles. We were both very pleased but he was FLOORED by the chicken and waffles. It looked delicious even to me as a vegetarian. The cinnamon sugar butter was freaking unreal.
Eddie's definitely has a local neighborhood feel. The waitstaff is very friendly. I look forward to returning and trying more of the menu!
