I called in advance to see if I had to make appt for a full leg wax. I could definitely tell it was asian-owned. This could go good or bad, either way. Although there weren't many reviews on this place about waxing, I decided to try it out cause the price was decent ($40 for full leg wax) and it's somewhat close to my house.
I just ended up not making any appt and just dropped in later. To be honest when I first walked in, I totally regretted even stepping into the place. It's not the cleanest nail/waxing place I've been to. However my legs really needed to be waxed so what the heck, I asked if I could be taken care of right away and they could take me.
The way they wax are a little different. Instead of the ordinary heated up wax in a wax heater and wood sticks to spread them on your legs, they use this rolly thing to put thin layers of wax on you. They have their own heaters and I guess it's more convenient for the Waxers?
Overall I was thinking the waxing was just ok until my waxer did something that made me want to come back after. She took tweezers and tweezed out hair that wasn't waxed and was left on my legs. This is something small they could/not do but extra attention is always so nice. I've been to so many waxing places but they never take tweezers after to take care of those little hairs left behind. It's been 4 days since my waxing session and I am still very happy with it. With Tax it came to $45 dollars which I think is pretty decent for a full leg wax. I would def go back to this place.
