  • It was fun. I had read reviews prior to going so I knew a few things my super excited wife did not know - like the fact that she was not singing. But that's cool - it's 35 year old Britney - what do you expect? Planet Hollywood is cool. Nice hip hotel/casino. Good music played in the casino and you just feel cool when you're in there. Loved PH. Going into the show - Once you get past security there is a Britney museum with some of her famous outfits behind glass - that was pretty cool. There are a couple of bars to get drinks prior to going to you seats. The lines are long and the prices are Vegas style. So get in line early and don't spill. Getting your seats - The venue is a really nice size. Not too big and not too small. We had decent seats in sec 207 I believe like row G. They were nice. We could see the entire stage and a lot of the surroundings. About 5 minutes to showtime and you'll notice that it is bachelorette party central! i felt like girl to guy ratio is somewhere near 30:1. The show - Nice light show, special effects, digital screen with cool stuff in motion on it surrounding the stage. We saw Brit's first show since tearing her ankle tendons and she was not wearing any protective gear. Her dancers were really good. Her dancing was more or less what I could do (I think I'm a great dancer and wife says not so much) she was sort of walking around in squares on the stage. But again 35 year old Britney. Her outfits were pretty good too! The hits were played. I am not a Britney fan - but I probably knew about 80% of the songs so that made it fun. Show is over - I was with my wife and a female friend of hers that had already seen the show. They Both Loved it! The 30:1 girls in the audience seemed to love it as well. Lots of screeching. Everyone leaving the show seemed to be smiling. The girls that were excited that they saw Brit and the guys were excited that they were heading back to PH/Vegas! Afterthought - Overall, I was glad I went. Worth the price? Probably not unless you really like Brit. I will forever compare all Vegas shows to the best show I ever saw in Vegas that I don't think anyone can live up to - that's right, you got it, Mr. Las Vegas, Mr. Wayne Newton! That is a show!!
