UNCC insiders will tell you that only suckers buy their books at the campus bookstore; Gray's is the store of choice for the self-described savvy student. Prices here are 10-15% lower than at the Barnes and Noble on campus. Of course, like every textbook supplier, for days at the start of the semester the store will be packed to bursting. Even after you have done battle for that final discounted 'used' copy of Advanced Economic Theory the line can be 20 minutes long.
But all that hassle is worth it if you are getting a deal, right? Well, maybe. Gray's is still 25% more expensive than Amazon.com.
