| - I just received a text message from them with this new name. Not sure if they are still part of the UREP Maids services for Summerlin or not as no explanation was given and they never even texted to let us know of the name change. I'm not happy at all with the services, but my husband was scheduling them for a while to at least have the floors mopped. At first, the price seemed right since it's supposed to include Landscaping (although I have yet to see someone come for that. I don't have weeds growing in the backyard, but it doesn't appear any actual maintenance is done) We have missed our last few weeks of regularly scheduled services, because they text the day before and give you an hour to respond or they give away your apt. What kind of customer service is this? I work a full time job and don't check my texts every minute of the day. Why not call or text both my husband and I as I asked so one of us gets it or give me a little more than an hour to reply.
As far as the "services" go, I will agree with another comment, I don't feel they are professional cleaning crews that have ANY training. I have never ever worked for a cleaning service nor have I ever been trained to clean, but I clearly know more. I get they can't do it as good as I can as that takes hours, but I can't understand how they don't know basics. Like how to fluff a pillow or put sheets on properly. I often ask my husband, how does a cleaning service not know how to put sheets on (my kids sheets are always upside down) or make a bed properly? My bed is never made to my liking, and it's usually semi made when they arrive to see how I like it, but it's never done the way I leave it for them to see. This to me is cleaning 101. I grew up cleaning as part of my chores and learned from seeing beds made at stores or hotels, and you can easily youtube all of this if you have no clue.
I always find crumbs or little pieces of toys, crayons etc under my daughter's bed skirt, so clearly they aren't even lifting it to vacuum. My vacuum slides right under the bed skirt when I clean. I am sure they don't use the nozzle as the corners are never done properly. I was told upon agreeing to bi-weekly services and watched the video on website that explains each time they come, one area is detailed. For instance, blinds, doors, base boards. Well, I have asked for them to leave a note what they are detailing but have yet to get one. And it certainly doesn't appear any of the above mentioned is done. I come home and remake beds, fluff my pillows (because again I don't understand how they don't know to fluff couch pillows rather then flatten them out completely) I have to give them my own furniture cleaner as theirs left my dressers streaky.
Once they came before I left for work, so I watched while they attempted to dust and it was a joke. They left a spider web hanging from my dining light bc they just sweep the feather duster across it ever so lightly without even looking up. I was able to see it and had to go over it myself. My house is clean, so I can't imagine how they'd handle a dirty house. I maintain it on weekends so when they come, they basically need to sweep and mop floors, vacuum and dust. Forget about the blinds. You can see the dust towards the back part of the blinds as they simply swipe over them with their duster when blinds are closed. It doesn't really take much longer to use a dust cloth and lift the blind above as you swipe fast so you can get the dust towards the back. I myself clean each blind individually and use a wood cleaner on the wooden ones when i have time, but I don't expect that.
I come home more aggravated, rather than relaxed, because I usually re-make the beds and clean the blinds correctly. I recently wiped under the edge of my shower door to find layers of orange/crusted water residue. I would have been cleaning this myself weekly, if I didn't think they even clean the shower carefully. I made the mistake to think they were cleaning the drains or at least lifting the shower cover to the drain so I neglected to do so myself, and boy was I in for a treat when I found time to clean myself. There is no attention to detail and actually no detailed work at all. I need someone that will vacuum under a bed skirt, clean a shower door and catch a few spider webs. I mean it's almost a joke. I have resorted to Yelp because I've texted photos of crumbs or things I felt were neglected and made phone calls, but have never received a response.Yes, it's reasonable and my husband continues to try and get them when we can return the text within their time frame, but I'd rather pay more and get the job done right.
