  • I stayed at this Holiday Inn when visiting Toronto for the weekend. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly, the rooms were spotless, and the entire hotel was very modern and clean. I also had the opportunity to deal with housekeeping, and they are also wonderful, engaged employees. WiFi was very fast, the room included a fridge and complimentary coffeepot/coffee. One star off for the breakfast.. I was thrilled by the "pancake machine" that they have.. like a conveyor belt that spits out pancakes on request. I was also excited by the hot eggs and sausage. Unfortunately I was really disappointed by the flavor of the hotcakes. The eggs were grainy and lukewarm. The sausage was even colder. Frankly, I couldn't finish any of the hot food I got. I only say this because I am usually not too picky about the food quality at a free breakfast. I think they had hard-boiled eggs also. That said, the cold choices were very nice. Multiple types of yogurt, cereals, and a few other items. If you ignore the disappointing hot breakfast options, this place gets 5 stars.
