Wow, what a fun day at the science museum. My husband and I met my SIL and nephew at the museum for a day of fun. As soon we walked in there was a huge amphibian exhibit set up. I loved this. They had lots of live unusual animals and experts there to answer your questions. The kids were allowed to pet them! My nephew loved this!
The upper levels are where the exhibits are help. We knew that the exhibits and fun activities were going to be too advanced for my 2 1/2 year old nephew. He had fun anyway. He did lots of pushing buttons, listening to sounds, creating sounds, threw a baseball, fly a plane and watched a rocket take off. There is a nice size "under 7" area that was great for him! This area had a ball pit, a slide, puzzles, blocks and fun house mirrors. We stayed the longest in that area.
We bought an extra ticket to go to the Mythbusters exhibit. I highly recommend you DONT buy this. I thought that area was a waste of time and money. There are just a bunch of memorabilia from the show and a small area to create your own experiment. I was not impressed.
