I'm generally not a complainer and most of the time try to give the benefit of the doubt. This my second week checking in here - I thought I would give a second chance as I will be doing a lot of business in the area for the next 3 months, and Hyatt is my preferred chain. First impressions are everything, and the first thing that comes to mind about this establishment is... filthy. The first room I checked into had hair on both bedspreads, and not the kind of hair you want to see on a supposedly "clean" bed. Went to put my clothes in the dresser drawers and handles were sticky. Wiped them down with a cloth and they were filthy dirty. Carpets are old, worn and stained. A/C &Heating unit had so much dust I was afraid to turn on because I didn't want to have all that dust blowing around. Windows do not open, no way to get fresh air. Second time I stayed I asked to be put on another floor. Walked out of the elevator and was hit with a stench that smelled like day-old fish. The room wasn't much better, wall partition looked stained by an unmentionable body fluid. Coffee cups were filthy, looked like dried boogers on one of them. Gross. gross. GROSS! The only saving grace was the staff - very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to make me comfortable during my stay. I will be looking to stay at another establishment in the future.
