I'm torn on what to rate The Grapevine. I've had several good nights here and some not so good. It usually gets a great crowd for karaoke that sings along to every song. This can be a problem though because the rotation gets so large you may never get to sing. I've sat for two hours without being called. We have learned the best way to get your song played is to tip the host $20. That usually will get you one song. It's become a little ridiculous.
I've eaten here probably twice and I can't remember anything about the food. So that means it wasn't bad or good enough to remember. Passable.
Service by the cocktail waitress with the short platinum hair was actually stellar last time we were there. Normally it's impossible to find someone that is interested in helping anyone. So props to the pixie cut woman, I apologize for not getting your name. Drinks are pretty dependable here, so the bartenders have been consistent. If it hadn't been for the improved service and actually getting to sing last time I would have done only two stars.
