This metro is a godsend for the lazy condo dweller above. The BF is renting a unit in the building and this grocery store was pretty much one of the major selling points of why he rented here rather than elsewhere.
The selection and pricing is ok - but you don't get as great deals as you would up town - like the discount grocers uptown and it doesn't offer the same wow factor as some other premium supermarkets.
I kinda wish they had more selection - but it isn't bad for the basics or just the bare minimum if you want to go one-step above fancy. Produce here, often, is limp and uninspiring, but the other sections are ok.
The downside is that they don't have free parking if you don't live in the condos; plus no access directly into the grocery store from the condo - so you would need to trek outside to get into the store.
Recently they changed their hours so that they no longer are 24hrs, so not quite as convenient as they used to be, instead they close at midnight.
