I really wanted to love this place and sadly it turned out to be an underwhelming experience.
I brought my miniature schnauzer in for a full service grooming appointment and while the shop is beautifully decorated and provides nice accessories for your fur baby, the actual grooming services are just not what they should be for $50.I usually take my dog to Larry's Pet Grooming but I wanted to try Wolfgang since it's a lot closer to home.
When I arrived,I spoke with the groomer about how he should be cut and showed her pictures of him when he's freshly cut for reference.Once he was ready to be picked up I realized the mistake I'd made by bringing him there. His hair was still long all over his body and the way she cut the hair on his head looked like she simply rushed through it.The hair was very noticeably uneven and so I requested she trim those areas more. Her excuse for the sloppiness was "he moves around a lot when you get near his head."Our other groomer has never mentioned anything like that before and actually praises his behavior during the process.
She took him back with an annoyed attitude and cane back out with him about 10 min later.I took him in my arms and when I put him in my car I realized I had millions of tiny pieces of his hair stuck to my velvet jacket. She didn't even bother to comb his hair. That has never happened with other groomers.I understand there's always a little hair left over however this was unacceptable and it felt deliberate.
The quality in Wolfgang's grooming services does not live up to the $50 price tag.For that amount,I'll continue to go across town and receive quality service by groomers who actually enjoy their work as well as the animals in their care.Wolfgang gets one star for the nicely decorated space.
