I had decided to get some work done on my teeth after never really going to a dentist except for extractions.
I was given a treatment plan with a cost. That amount was paid plus more. I had a partial then chipped tooth that had root canal. Was told crown was required at that time. Before it was NOT required now can NOT wear my partial as it just falls out of my mouth. I was quoted verbally when I was there last right after chipping the tooth that it would cost me $2,000.00 more.
I feel that if you are given a price after telling all that you wanted done then that should be the price no secret charges later down the road.
If it was a hundred or so bucks i would understand but I paid thousands of dollars and now have something I can NOT use and they are totally unwilling to help.
I did complain again and was called by Kirstie the one that had printed my estimate in the 1st place and she was very argumentative. She stated it was my fault and many other things.
I was surprised that Dr. Horvath did not call herself as I am sure that she would not have talked to me anyway near the way Kirstie did.
I would recommend Dr. Horvath as a dentist she was very good and root canal was totally painless but get the cost upfront and pay so you do NOT get taken advantage of like I did.
It feels almost like the old bait and switch but they say that was only an estimate when I was very clear I needed to know as close as possible as this was money that had been saved and actually borrowed against.
If you would like more information feel free to give me a yelp out........
