The variety of products from rugs and shower curtains to milk and eggs, make this a fun place to shop. This used to be a Smittys Big Town and the layout and types of products are a legacy of that history. When Smittys was purchased by Krogers they made this store part of the Frys sub-brand. If you have every been in a Krogers in some other part of the US then you know what to expect for products and prices. Parking is good, but it is difficult (sometimes impossible) to make a left turn out of the parking lot due to traffic on McClintock and Baseline.
What would it take to get the 5th star?
1) Get some decent meats. I end up going down the road to Sunflower Market McClintock and Southern) for Harris all natural meats (no antibiotics, no hormones, etc). The meat here just does not taste as good as the meat at Sunflower.
2) Get back to the basics on service. The last 3 times I was here the cashier bagged my groceries but did not put them in my cart--just shoved them across the counter for me to put them in the cart.
