This is my third service visit to Peoria Nissan after purchasing my vehicle. Unfortunately, it is also my third sub-par visit to the service department. I like to think I am a patient person, but 1hr and 45 minutes for an oil and filter change is ENTIRELY too long. It appears to me that the service department over books the mechanics and give first preference to those that are paying vs. those that have a service plan (we have a service plan). I watched closely as several other customers were in and out in no time at all while I sat there waiting with two children in tow (unavoidably). I am 40 years old and have gotten my own oil changes on all of my vehicles from the first one on...telling me that it takes that long because oil changes involve more than just changing the oil is condescending. Also, if you are going to offer a complimentary shuttle...there should be one available. Twice I attempted to access the shuttle (I even requested it when making my appointment)...I was told that there was none available. This "service" department might want to re-examine their idea of service.
