  • It's been a challenge moving to Arizona for us when it comes to finding a church that fits our family. We wanted a contemporary experience, great music and most of all, a place that accepts our nontraditional family. We didn't want a place that chastised our kids for being who they are, dressing as they do or being who they were born to be. We're not super conservatives and our children don't fit the stereotypical gender roles. After countless visits to dying churches and places where the pastors out rightly told us we likely should seek church elsewhere due to our viewpoints on gay marriage, we're happy we FINALLY found a place that accepts everyone. Exact viewpoints on gay marriage have not been addressed, but from the demographic and diverse community that attends, I'm fairly comfortable knowing that although we all have our beliefs on certain topics, this issue isn't worth dividing this great body of believers over. People seem genuinely kindhearted and the music is so incredible. Also, DONUTS.
