The dinner at Legume was one of the best experiences in our getaway trip to Pittsburgh.
The ambiance was very comfortable and inviting, with a great taste showing in interior design.
The service was very good and accommodating to our suggestions.
The value was very good for a great quality of the dining.
But the star of the show was the food. One of us had their supper menu (with upgrading of the second course to their a la carte version) and the other had tapas style from the appetizers section and the asparagus soup, + we had ruburb crisp and cherry clafoudis for dessert. Everything was amazingly tasty, creative, interesting and beautifully presented. We have eastern European roots in the family and couldn't enjoy more tasting the Green Borscht with Hard-Boiled Egg and Pork and Pistachio Pâté with Pickles which reminded us of our childhood tastes. Thanks to the Chef for such a wonderful surprise.
We enjoyed everything so much that already are thinking about our next getaway to Pittsburgh and wish we'd live closer then we are.
If you still didn't try this place do it ASAP, and you'll thank me later.
