Had an 8:30 dinner reservation and arrived to a packed house with live band playing. The ambience was great and works well for both large parties and romantic dates. I don't usually eat out at Italian restaurants but was pretty impressed with the food here. Seafood risotto was the winner of the night. Plenty of different seafood pieces in every bite and the risotto was cooked just right. The pasta trio is also very good, with the mushroom one being my favorite and gnocchi a close second. I also shared a caprese salad that was good but nothing to write home about. I'd probably pass on that and try something else next time. They have a decent wine list with varying price points that will accommodate your tastes and budget. The entrees, while not inexpensive, were reasonably priced for a nice dinner and atmosphere in Scottsdale. The only downside was that our pasta plate was brought out cold. They quickly took it back and made a new one without complaints, so that was appreciated.
The menu is varied but not overwhelmingly extensive. I'll be back to try other items they offer.
