| - I elected to have our family stay here on a trip a few months ago, because it was cheaper than many other upscale hotels, smoking is not allowed, and there is no casino, since we are not gamblers. The lobby was pretty, the property itself looked pretty nice, and the staff was friendly and professional. The room looked nice with wood decor and a big bathroom with separate shower and tub. There were a couple things I didn't like, though. One, the pool closed really early; I think it was at sunset, and it would have been nice to have a swim after walking up and down the Strip during the day. Two, it's location across from Fashion Show mall was inconvenient. There is a crosswalk that goes across to the mall, but it does not have a traffic signal, and some cars go whizzing past pretty fast. I was pretty afraid for the safety of my family as we made the crossing several times.
Las Vegas is not my idea of a nice city, but I suppose if I just needed a decent place to stay for a night, and had no intention of crossing the street on foot I might stay here again.
