Summary: Great drinks and service. Fun bar staff. Prices are high ($20 per drink), but so is the quality. Sit at the bar for the best experience and make sure to have a BOGO coupon with you.
My wife and I came here on a Sunday evening after seeing Martin Short and Steve Martin at the Forum right next door. It was about 10pm, so the place was pretty empty inside except along the bar, which was reasonably full. The hostess gave us a couple of discount cards when we went in. On one side was a free a BOGO cocktail offer and on the other side was a three-champagne and chocolate pairing offer for $39.
We made our way inside and took in the decor, which is modern and elegant with lots of Hollywood-esque pictures on the walls. Since the bar had space, we took the last two seats on the left and placed our first round order. My wife opted for the champagne and chocolate pairing while I got the Fizz Fraise. The bartenders and server were very fun and chatty with each other and the guests along the bar. They put some very nice attention into creating my cocktail while also pouring my wife's three glasses of champagne and getting the three chocolate truffles from the kitchen. They also explained the pairing to my wife so she knew what each item was and what it was best paired with. My cocktail was fantastic. Very tasty and juicy, but well-balanced.
After that round was done we were still energized enough to go for another round, so my wife ordered a Kiss the Bride cocktail (which tasted just like wedding cake) while I had another Fizz Fraise. She enjoyed her drink thoroughly, and we both enjoyed talking with each other and the staff for a little while longer. This bar was a great way to top off an awesome night, and the staff at the Fizz bar are to be commended for their care and craftsmanship.
