  • Taking value out of the equation because my stay was paid for by one of our VARs this place and really the Venetian/Palazzo property has to be one of if not the best hotel experience in Vegas. I can't imagine any hotel and grounds can do it better than this. It is an across the board 5 stars. I do have some guilt for this but this is quite possibly the best shower I've ever had. Incredible water pressure for a city is in a full blown water crisis as Lake Mead is at historic lows. I was stunned but it was glorious for the purposeful short showers I took. It was very difficult to cut it short. The rooms are enormous. All suites and 720 square feet and up. Ours was 940 square and it was roomier than several apartments I've lived in over the course of my life. Massive bathroom. If there is a ding the TVs were weak but really who stays in the room in Las Vegas? Next the shopping and eating spaces. Incredible. Caesars is the only place that comes close on the strip. If you didn't want to you could stay in Vegas and never lease the Venetian/Palazzo property. Must be 20 to 30 legit sit down eateries ranging in price from expensive to very expensive. Huge sports bar in Lagasse Stadium. The design and details of the shops and the mall that surrounds them are just fantastic. You can easily get lost and I expect that is by design but it goes on and on and on and is beautiful every step of the way. It is a special place. The pools are just OK IMO. Not terrible but not spectacular. At least the free ones. There is a separation for those like me that staying here is a privilege and the privileged where staying here becomes exclusive. That's OK. The "commoners" digs and options would be exclusive for all but the very wealthy. Gambling isn't what I'm here for and I could not really care less but the Venetian seemed pretty decent compared to the others we walked which was all but the Bellagio on the strip hotel row. The Palazzo was pretty weak but if you want to gamble close to your room it would suffice I suppose. Read other reviews if that is your thing. I'm sure gamblers have better insight than me. I spent 20 minutes total in my 4 days at the hotel. I don't know that I will ever stay here again as it is pricey compared to some of the other choices but it was extremely memorable if I do not. Vegas is a wonderland. The Venetian/Palazzo property and Palazzo hotel is Shangri-la.
