| - This is a great buffet if you like seafood, but most of non-seafood dishes were so-so.
Price: Seafood buffet with unlimited alcohol (wine, champagne, etc) for $43.25 ($39.99 + tax) - Friday from 2:30 pm to 8:30 pm + all day Saturday & Sunday.
Studio B is located way off the Strip (13 ~ 15 miles away from the Mirage and approximately half a hour drive). It is so south that technically the buffet is located in the city of Henderson. I came here at a pretty good time because I didn't have to wait too long (about 5 minutes).

Food: Italian food (e.g. pizza), snow crab (hot or cold), jambalaya, swai fish, roasted turkey, leg of lamb, prime rib beef, NY steak, black truffle au-gratin potato, oyster, salad, sushi, masago mussel, teriyaki chicken satay, fruits, Kali beef ribs, curry, fortune cookies, chow mien, fried rice, Chinese BBQ pork rib, and DIY noodle station (pick your own noodle and topping, then add selective broth).
Dessert: There were tons of sugar free dessert options as well as traditional desserts like flans, banana bread muffins, cookies, and gelato.
[Dish 1] Fettuccine, lobster mac 'n' cheese, shrimp, snow crab, jambalaya, swai fish, leg of lamb: Au jus tasted funky, but all seafood were above average. Non-seafood dishes were fairly average.
[Dish 2] Prime rib beef, NY steak, black truffle au-gratin potato, oyster: NY steak was greasy and prime rib beef tasted somewhat dry. but that black truffle cheese was pretty delicious.
[Dish 3] Broccoli beef, fried rice, sushi, Chinese BBQ pork rib, teriyaki chicken, mussel: Chinese food were actually pretty good (up to my San Gabriel Valley standards). Most Chinese dishes were somewhat similar to dishes from the Panda Express, but Studio B's version tasted a bit better. Teriyaki was dry and not good at all.
[Dish 4] Creme brûlée, almond cookie, vanilla gelato: I sampled pistachio and peanut butter and I didn't like them that much - I had too many $5 super fancy gelato in Los Angeles and these gelato weren't that great. Vanilla gelato was somewhat passable. Creme brûlée ... good flavors but it lacked the crunchy dark brown caramel layer.

3.5-star buffet, but I decided to give 4-star mainly for seafood & Chinese food. Now that I have tried most of buffets in Vegas (Bellagio, Bacchanal, Wynn, and Wicked Spoon) ... I think I am done with my Vegas buffet run for now. If I have to pick one buffet in Vegas, I will probably stick with Bellagio and get as many lamb chops as I can humanly get.
