Really not a bad venue. It reminds me a little bit of a cave so the acoustics aren't as good as they were at Altar Bar was or at Mr Smalls so my ears do ring a bit after a loud show. But it's a wider room and a decent sized stage so it's always easy to find a spot to stand. There is also a small balcony area above the bar if you don't want to be on the main floor.
Staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean and drinks are affordable ($4 for a bottle of Bud Light which isn't bad compared to a lot of other concert venues), the bar is cash only.
Not the fault of the venue at all, but be aware that parking is horrific especially on weekends because it is the Southside...all on street parking and you have to pay close attention to permit parking only, no parking areas, etc.
