| - I inherited a huge, goofy dog that had been raised in a fraternity house. He's a combination of Great Dane and Labrador, and I couldn't even hold him on a leash - he is SO strong and was completely wild.
After one training session, he was calmly walking on a leash, sitting and staying when asked. It was absolutely remarkable! After four sessions, he is without a leash walking by my side, sitting, staying, and coming when called. With these tools, we are having tremendous success working on household behaviors such as being quiet on command, going to place, and staying off counters.
Now here's the real unexpected bonus: my dog is so much happier. He's calmer knowing what is expected of him and where his place is. Our relationship has completely bonded. If anyone is hesitant about using an electric collar for training, I want to assure you that, for these strong dogs, it is needed. In my experience it was used very lightly and only briefly in order to get his attention for the message. The communication between the dog and I has tremendously improved because of it.
I don't think we will need any additional help, but it's great to know that we have a lifetime warranty on the training and can call for help at any time!
Eternal gratitude for transforming a wild dog into a wonderful pet!!
