| - HORRIBLE ER!!!! I will NEVER go here again!!! Save your time and money. If you have to go to an ER go to St. Joes or a facility part of Dignity health. They actually CARE about you!!! From the moment we walked in to the waiting room to check out, nobody seamed yo care. They guy in the next durian over from me explained it like going to a mechanic. You drive up they park you for 3 hours do 10 min worth of work and then charge you $500. In the waiting room I listened to the staff talk with another lady in the waiting room about how much they didn't like the new name Honer health, and they were making fun of it. While this was going on there was a lady that looked real bad, she kept on asked if it was her turn yet, that she felt like she was going to die. She was shaking and very visible in pain I over heard her say that she thought she had appendixsidious (her appendix was going to burst) you could over hear her throwing up in the bathroom. Nurses kept on walking by this lady. The front desk barely acknowledged her and spent more of there energy talking bad about the new name. This is an ER!!! And they got into healthcare to help people!!!! When I got back to a bed I saw 4 different people before I saw my nurse, even the DR!! this is my main problem with this place is the nursing staff!! Ps my Dr... Dr Anderson was really nice. When I finally saw my nurse, she was just bitter, she never introduced herself (her name tag said Sarah, she has longish brown wavy hair, I hope you never have to go to this Hospital but if you do and you get her RUN!!!), she never smiled, I told her I was scared and did not like iv's, she never tried to talk to me or make me feel more comfortable. She got the uv started (which I now have a massive bruise from) I was just a pin cushion to her, she was rough, even after me expressing I was scared. Then she disappeared!! They took me to go run some tests after coming back I was in pain, there were 6 different people ( the bed driver, the admin lady, 3 different techs, and a hospital volunteer) that went and got her including hitting the nurse button a few times. My husband finally went up to the nurses station and said" hey, my wife is in pain and we have been trying to call you) he said they were just sitting there talking, smiling and giggling away, they weren't working, they were gossiping!! They just replied of will let your nurse know!!! Could someone not come down and make sure I was ok?!? And what we needed?!? A face to face, same thing happened about an hour latter when I needed to use the restroom, and then again when it was time to take my I've out and go home!!! And when going home it wasn't even the same nurse! They were there but no one was being attentive!! It was ridiculous!!! In the middle of all this the nurse came to take my blood pressure it hurt sooooo bad!!! It was sooo tight, and it wasn't getting a read ( I have low BP) I begged her to do it manually, she said no and did it again, I told her my arm was going numb and it felt like one of my veins was going to pop. She did nothing. It finally hurt so bad i finally yelled take it off!! I went to take it off my self, but she finally did. I asked her to please do it manually if she really needed a number for the charts, she said no she won't, then mumbled something under her breath ( it wasn't very nice) then stormed out. Nurses are supposed to be there and help take care of you. Not at this Hospital. This is not the first time we have had a bad experience here, I thought I had just gotten a bad nurse last time, and was giving the Hospital another shot. Not again!!! Even my husband was mad said that they all act like stuck up B?????s. I have to agree.
