  • I'd say The Alley has some of the best bubble tea out there. They stay away from the very generic bubble tea flavours you'll find at other chains such as Chatime or Coco. They don't have Taro or Mango, but rather they focus on creating unique milk tea flavours such as the Royal No.9 milk tea or sweet dew milk tea. Not only do the stray away from the norm, but they do it so well. Now don't be afraid, there are still safe flavours here such as an Oreo flavoured slush or a guava like juice. I would say if there was one thing they should change it's definitely the names of the drinks. It can be a little confusing to understand what flavour is behind the bubble tea names, but the servers are really knowledgeable and will answer all of your questions. They also have a sample of the day that will carry one of their most popular drinks. My personal favourite is the Royal No.9 milk tea, which I think is one of their best selling drinks. It's a blueberry milk tea, that has a really nice blueberry aftertaste while still allowing the milk tea flavour to go through. As for the atmosphere, the dim lighting & brick walls really make for a nice intimate & cozy atmosphere. However, not so cozy at night when there are up to 30 people in the tiny space. But you can't blame them, what bubble tea spot isn't crowded after 8pm.
