| - I've been in there often due to convenient location, but, I usually do not feel good physically after eating there. I've ordered things with cheese, but, I'm very concerned that possibly I may have been getting dairy cheese instead of vegan cheese.
They say they are vegan AND vegetarian. But, I realize if they are offering dairy cheese & eggs on their menu, I feel extremely uncomfortable with that.
As much as they write they are organic, using local companies, etc., the part that would make them appear ethical....the very fact that they offer dairy & egg products, makes them no different than any ordinary restaurant.
Dairy products are the cruelest industry out there - even more than ordinary meat, &, it's already been proven that even a small amount of dairy causes cancer.
I need to start going back to strictly vegan restaurants, even if they are farther from where I live.
I wish Pomegranate Cafe would just let go of the non-vegan foods. If they are supposedly so knowledgeable about health, organic, etc., they need to catch up to the several vegan restaurants who are making spectacular tasting foods.
