After raves of their ox-tail soup, curiosity got the best of me and I just had to try it. After a night of crazy partying we went out there around 4am. Luckily by then there were plenty of tables open ( I heard this place gets packed around 2am). Walking through the casino, I didn't expect much from this place. The casino itself is old, smelly, rundown and empty.
Food: I ordered the ox-tail soup with no greens and extra ginger on the side. It comes with a bowl of rice. Friend got the Hawaiian breakfast. As soon as I tasted the ox tail soup I was in heaven. It was perfectly flavored and the meat was so tender. They actually give you a huge portion of meat!! Us ladies just dug right in. Now I know what all the hype is about. The soup is deeeeelicious!!! 5-stars!! I tried a bit of my friends Hawaiian breakfast and it was also really good. The meat was not overly salted.
Service: It was average. The waitress forgot my friends order of hasbrowns but once we brought it to her attention she brought it out right away. I'm not going to complain too much seeing as they must be tired working those late hours.
Ambiance: it's like an asian Denny's. Also, I was very disgruntled with some of the people sitting near us. A table full of immature, gross, uncivilized guys. Didn't their mothers teach them not to be a D-bag to ladies? I don't appreciate them secretly snapping pictures of us and staring. It's rude.
Would I ever go back? HECK YEAH!! I had ox-tail soup withdrawals after I left. I've researched places in my area for ox-tail soups but nothing will ever compare to this place.
5 Stars for food
3 Stars for service
0 Stars for immature ass****s
