My aunt picked this place after she heard we were vegetarians. Normally, when someone suggests a place with all kinds of fake meat on the menu, I will insist on finding a better option, but she assured me it was good so I just went with it.
I guess I underestimated their ability to prepare fake meat... serving a Jewish community does mean that many customers are vegetarian outside their home. Mike and I both went with fake duck dishes... mine (basil sauce) was decidedly better than his (don't remember... something bland). The appetizers were all pretty standard, but nothing stood out as particularly good or bad.
Overall, 3-star food, plus vegetarian options, plus byob... it's a low 4.
