Pricey, and I got food poisoning from eating their prepared salmon last night. I was violently ill and I'm still sick. I just called to let them know and the response, was "sorry, it couldn't have been more than a couple days old. We always serve fresh."
Even after telling them that I missed work and I'm still not feeling well, the response was "sorry."
I think when your product causes food poisoning, you may want to offer to reimburse the customer. Since I'm losing money by not working today...In terms of health and safety, the store should have at least got my name and phone number in case someone else gets sick.
I'll leave amateur hour to Canadian Food Inspection Agency I guess.
