To be fair, I only came for a 1/2 day trip. I was passing by on a long roadtrip and decided to hit any national parks on the way. Out of the few national parks I've been to, this was not one of my favorites (again, I didn't spend a lot of time). We took a stop at the Boston Store Visitors Center (obligatory stamp for mama), and the volunteers were very helpful. We decided to take a short walk/hike to Brandywine Falls with the limited time we had- we were able to see the Towpath, hitting the Stanford House (a remodeled house hotel in the park with 9 rooms available), and finally the Brandywine Falls. Hike was flat and easy as expected, and there was a lot of foot/bike traffic on the towpath. Saw some cool ledges on the way to the falls- there are 3 points or so of viewing- top of falls, middle and bottom. The falls were nice, but for me, a waterfall is a waterfall after you've seen so many.
We walked back to the Boston Store area- there is another souvenir store across the street with outdoor tables- grab some local ice cream!
