  • Brought my truck in for oil change and asked them to check a sticking door lock....been here 2 1/2 hours still no word ..just asked was told they are still waiting for answer on lock..I had an appointment and told them why I was coming. So hard to find good service in Las Vegas. update: 29 hours they had my truck, for an oil change and to fix a door lock. I made an appointment in advance and explained exactly why I was coming in for service. When I arrived for my appointment I was told it might be a couple hours, reluctantly I agreed. Two and a half hours I sat in the waiting room with no contact from anyone other than sales people. When I finally asked what the status was I was told they hadn't got to it yet and should probably get a rental car and leave the vehicle for the day. Took two and a half hours to tell me this. I explained that required removal of car seats, and scheduling my children's drop offs and pickups. So I declined and asked for my truck back. Mr. Smith walked away and came back with my car seats and a rental contract and said he called for the rental pickup? After 45 minutes of standing there I asked where the rental shuttle was? He said he would call again. It finally came and I rented a truck installed my children's seats and finally got back to work after being there 4 and a half hours. I didn't hear another word the rest of the day and finally called to ask what the status was at 4:00 PM. He told me part was ordered and would be there by 10 AM on Saturday and 1 hour to install...so lunchtime Saturday. Saturday 12:00 I have heard nothing. I call 5 times, finally hear my truck will be ready in an hour...This will be my first and last trip to Desert 215 dodge. I live in Vegas and come from a MOPAR family, my father retired from Chrysler so It's in my blood...I went to this dealership due to problems with service at my previous dealer...but I will not be going back. Had communication and customer service been priority I could understand delays, but the issue was no communication and lack of care for the customer. I would add that the rental was covered by my Maximum care warranty policy, so it was not a "courtesy" as stated on my receipt, I also asked that the right front tire be checked as it was losing air....I just had to inflate it again....I wonder if they even changed the oil? Tire pressure light keeps coming on...so I will have to go somewhere to get it fixed....
