Spur of the moment BBQ dinner - I chose the special of 3 boneless meats, a side, cornbread, and a drink for $9.95. I got the pulled pork, tri-tip, and sirloin and mashed potatoes with gravy. The portion sizes were decent for the price, and the beef was very tender and well-prepared. I did not particularly like the pulled pork, but that might be more about my personal preference than their quality. The mashed potatoes were a bit bland (um. They're mashed potatoes. Aren't they SUPPOSED to be bland?) but I liked the gravy. The cornbread was very flavorful, with pieces of corn and jalapeƱo. We had cherry pie ($2.00 a piece? Yes thank you!) a la mode for dessert - the crust was light and flaky, and the filling was rich with whole cherries. Prefab cups of ice cream were a bit low budget, but it certainly didn't ruin the experience. The gentlemen behind the grill were very pleasant and helpful - in spite of my first-time indecisiveness - and the young lady at the register was equally friendly. I'd definitely go back or order their take-out.
