| - This was the worst experience we have had in Vegas thus far!
We were excited to spend a night here on last Saturday, since the photos from their website seemed very nice. They were quite slow on the check-in process, each person took about 12-15min to finish. While we were waiting for our turn, we saw a lady at the "concierge" desk doing absolutely nothing; the worst part is, after she's done talking to a male guest, she turned to her colleague and laughed at the male guest. The guests in line saw it happened and went "what the heck"? Luckily, we were served by the "VIP Check-in Desk" inside an office; she was friendly and helpful, so one star goes to her.
We got a king sized room at the fantasy tower, on the 17th floor; we were able to see the pool and partial view of the strip. The room was roomy and clean; the bed was very comfortable as well. So the 2nd star goes here. Now, when I got in to this room, I was looking for a fridge to put my wine and beers in; I found a small one underneath the TV so I opened it, then saw full stocked of drinks, it's a mini-bar! So I closed it immediately without moving anything. It's strange that they didn't have a sign that tells us it's a mini bar or the price for the items inside the fridge; because if I knew it's a mini-bar, I would not even open it.
Now everything was fine until the next morning; we tried to use their Express Check-out from their TV at around 10:30am. Holy moly, we saw a bill of $88 with a list of things from the mini bar! How the heck did that even happen since we didn't take anything. If opening the fridge cost money then they should have put a sign up that says "You open it, you pay, does not matter if you take anything or not". The part that did not make sens is nothing was missing from this fridge, how did their computer even come up with items from it? So my husband called front desk trying to explain, the lady's response was rude, she said "sir, our computer system is quite good. If you never touched anything but something is missing, we have no reason to refund you." BUT NOTHING WAS MISSING! So we asked her to send someone to our room to check, she said someone will come to us in 15 to 45min. That's a joke! We aren't going to wait for another hour to check-out, we have a plane to catch!
My husband went to the lobby and talked to their manager instead; the manager said perhaps the min-bar wasn't stocked before we checked in to the room - but again, NOTHING WAS MISSING! The manager told my husband that he will take our words for it - what's that mean? So you think we stole the tiny bottles of alcohol? Come on! The wine that we brought with us is more expensive than the entire stock of mini bar!
Ended up, they gave us a receipt with only the resort fee. My husband came back to the room to help with the luggage; I saw him being upset and feeling insulted. So I offered talking to the manager once again to clarify that we didn't take anything from the mini-bar because he might have misunderstood him.
We went to the front desk with our belongings, I asked the same concierge lady (who was again, doing nothing) to speak to the manager. She looked up, giggle and said "well, the manager is helping out with the check-in guests, you will need to stay in line if you want to speak to him". Seriously?! Luckily the manager saw us and came to us, so I clarified with him that I was the one who opened the fridge but closed it right away, nothing was missing from the fridge. He said that is perfect, so we are good, and we will not be billed for anything else besides the resort fee. We left, and will never ever want to come close to this place ever again!
