I really hate that I have to get this place a bad review. Although, the customer service was good the day spa was disappointing to say the lease.
Me and 3 other girl friends came out to Vegas on a girls trip and wanted to enjoy a nice relaxing day at the spa. Since we're staying here we figured we'd give the day spa a try. What the heck it's only $30. We can sit in the jacuzzi, the sauna, and lay on the hot stone beds. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. One, the jacuzzi was luke warm. Actually, one of my friends described it as a cold bath. Smh
Next, we decide oh we'll lay on the hot stone bed. Those, just like the Jacuzzi weren't hot and not not only that. There's only 2! I did however lay on the hot bed for 10/15 minutes to see if it would heat up. It did get a little warmer but still not that hot.
Lastly, the saunas weren't hot at all. I work out and love to get in a sauna but neither the wet or dry sauna served its purpose. My girl friends and i set in the dry sauna for about 15-20 minutes and not one of us had a drop of sweat on us, nor were we hot. Which is weird considering how a sauna is suppose to work. After about 20 minutes we gave up again and tried the wet sauna which unfortunately had the same results.
As much as we have been enjoying our stay here at the Vdara this spa try was very disappointing. I expected a little more.
All and all i can say i was relaxed in the end but i will not return.
