| - My experience with this clinic is very positive.
When I was told by several clinics in my area, downtown Toronto, that spaying of my standard poodle would be close to $800.00, I decided to contact this clinic. My landlord, who lived in the area used them, and liked them.
Their price was $400.00.
I took her there, and was a bit apprehensive when I didn't meet a vet, but the women are amazing. I think they are all technicians, and they are knowledgable.
One of them took my information, and someone took Lucy. All the time phone calls ,and people coming in. Busy, but in control, and kind with the animals. You pay up front.
When I picked her up, she came out, tail up, happy to see me, but obviously liking the person who brought her out, and a bit shy of me.
I was given a sheet with instructions on how to care for her, and asking me to bring her back in two weeks to have the stitches removed.
I had a cone (lamp shade) from my other dog, and they said, only if she licks a lot, to use it. They hate them, and as she didn't lick, I didn't.
When I took her back to have the stitches removed, they just checked and said, she is fine.
They ask you to bring them back so they can check to see if everything is OK, not to remove the stitches, which dissolve.
If you want a fancy waiting area with coffee, and a lot of personal attention, then maybe go somewhere else. You are paying for all of that. If on the other hand, you are looking for good care for your pet, reasonable prices, I would say this is as good as it gets.
