Whenever I'm craving soup dumplings uptown, I immediately think of Ding Tai Fung at First Markham Place. However, this weekend my dad and I decided to try something new and we visited 369 Shanghai Dim Sum at Peachtree Plaza for the first time!
We managed to get seated right away, although the restaurant was nearing full capacity for lunch. Service was friendly and the menu was quite expansive. Between the two of us, we shared the xiao long bao (soup dumplings), wo tip (fried dumplings), and the glass noodle soup with fried tofu. While I still prefer the soup dumplings at Ding Tai Fung, their fried dumplings were amazing - just the right amount of crispiness on the outside and perfectly tasty and soupy on the inside. The glass noodle soup was pretty good too.
Overall, a great place for Shanghai food! Can't wait to come back and try some of the other things on their menu.
